mission: self-sustainability
At GlobaHeal, we believe that in order to allow underprivileged communities to prosper, those who live in these communities need to be motivated to take responsibility for their futures. When opportunities are provided for underprivileged citizens beyond the typical acts of service like food and shelter, citizens tend to find a way to make use of these opportunities in efficient and useful ways. Connecting employers and educators directly to those who need employment and an education allows for a source of long-term sustenance, which creates the foundation on which greater opportunities can be sought and utilized. Targeting educational resources towards a subset of individuals with the potential to achieve large-scale goals but with the lack of economic background to support these goals ensures a level playing field for every citizen, avoiding the repercussions of poverty.
